  • Hey Jason, now you've got me wondering... How does blogging for the Weblogs, Inc. blogs work? Do you guys decide in advance how many blog entries you can handle each month on an individual basis? How many is "average" for a blogger over there? Is it a hard-and-fast rule, or are they flexible about it?

Don't want to get you in trouble with the powers that be for revealing too much, but I figured you were the best person to ask. And since you brought it up.... ;)
  • Sorry it took me so long to respond; I've been ridiculously swamped, and forgot I had meant to post on this. With respect to how much you blog, you sign a contract with Weblogs, Inc., and at that time you decide with them what number of posts you want to commit to. Given that posting is a relatively irregular thing, you can be slightly over or short on your assigned number of posts - it's all kept fair. With respect to what is average, I have no idea. Some of our bloggers are ridiculously prolific - I can't imagine how they write so much. Others, like me, are much less so. They generally manage the level of traffic a given blog generates by adding more bloggers to it if needed. Hope that helps!
